DirecTV To Launch Three 3D HD Programming Channels
DirecTV announced that it has signed a strategic partnership with Panasonic to launch three 3D channels in June 2010. DirecTV subscribers get a free software upgrade allows them 3D channels, access through their TVs. DirecTV new HD 3D programming will be supplied with electricity from Panasonic and this sponsorship will feature Panasonic 3D branding on all DIRECTV channels for a period of one year. DirecTV’s new 3-D channels offering movies, sports and entertainment programming. DirecTV is working with leading manufacturers, the 3D content includes AEG / AEG Digital Media, CBS, Fox Sports / FSN, Golden Boy Promotions, HDNet, MTV, NBC Universal and Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. to start 3D channels.
